More publications now available in Chinese (中文普通話刊物)

A further eight Technical Information Posters on humane moving and lifting of animals, their loading and unloading during transport, and the stunning of cattle sheep and pigs have now been translated into Mandarin Chinese.  These are available, free-of-charge, on a dedicated HSA webpage.  See here

The HSA recently sponsored Dr Mohamed Ijas, a Municipal veterinarian in Sri Lanka, to attend two courses on animal welfare and poultry welfare at the University of Bristol in the UK. The knowledge he gained will be used to promote humane slaughter practices in Sri Lanka.
