The Humane Slaughter Association (HSA) offers independent training and advice on animal welfare matters during transport, marketing and slaughter. The HSA provides training for establishments of all sizes, ranging from large to small-scale and hobby farmers, slaughter personnel and university students, and uses proven training material based on the latest science and legislative requirements.

This week 9th-15th September) is Remember A Charity Week and the Humane Slaughter Association is proud to be joining over 200 charities across the country to celebrate all the amazing individuals who support vital services by leaving a gift to charity in their Will.

Practical, hands on work is a key component of the HSA’s work and the team have been busy in recent months delivering training and welfare assessments around the country as well as giving lectures to students of veterinary medicine and animal health and welfare.
