HSA still here to help

08 April 2020

In these difficult and uncertain times, the Humane Slaughter Association is still working to protect the welfare of animals “beyond the farm gate”.  In a recent statement, our CEO Huw Golledge said: “In these extraordinary times the HSA will be trying our best to continue supporting the welfare of animals during marketing, transport and at the time of slaughter. We are confident that we can continue many of our activities in these difficult times and will resume other activities as soon as we can.  Many of our staff are working remotely but will be available to provide animal welfare advice and assistance as well as guidance on our research funding and other activities.”

If you require technical advice or assistance, you can still contact the charity through the office by calling +44 (0)1582 831919, or by email info@hsa.org.uk.  Although face-to-face meetings have been cancelled, the charity is happy to arrange a virtual meeting if required.
